Water Dog Paddle Co. is the passion project of Seabrook Island native, nature nerd & water dog, Ryan Kennedy.  Wanting to positively impact, educate & empower, children & families, Ryan left the corporate world to reconnect with his roots & make his dream reality. In 2013, Water Dog Paddle Co. was founded at beautiful Bohicket Marina. One dolphin tour at a time, Water Dog Paddle Co. built itself into what it is today & is proud to have introduced thousands of people, ages 3 months-84 years old, to kayaking & paddleboarding. We’re excited to have recently expanded to our newest location, “Paddle Beach” at Trophy Lakes on Johns Island, which allows us to reach more paddlers & water lovers than ever.

Ryan also surfs & races paddleboards & has been a part of two, First in the World, paddleboard expeditions; Cosiguina Volcano (Nicaragua, 2015) & Atlantic SUPergirls (2015-16), New York City to Miami unsupported, “Paddleboard Expedition of the Year” by SUP the Mag, which raised $30,000+ in charitable donations.
